Live Arrival Guaranteed, Every Single Order

Every animal that leaves our care is verified alive and healthy at time of shipment. We photograph and inspect each shrimp before packing. If any animal arrives deceased, send us a clear photo within 1 hour of delivery and we will replace them at no charge on our next available ship date. We do not cut corners on packaging, temperature control, or shipping speed, because these are living animals and they deserve to arrive that way.

Colony Tip, The More You Start With, The Better

A larger starting colony means greater genetic diversity, more breeding activity, and a stronger survival rate for your shrimplets. We recommend a minimum of 10, 15 shrimp for a beginner colony. Orders of 20+ give your colony the best chance of thriving long-term, and the more females in your group, the faster your colony grows. Think of it as an investment in the colony's future, not just a one-time purchase.

⚠ Live Animal Shipping Restrictions We currently cannot ship to California, Maine, New Jersey, or Hawaii due to state-specific regulations on live aquatic animals. If your state is restricted, your order cannot be processed. Please verify before ordering.

Shipping Method

All live animals ship Monday, Wednesday only to ensure they do not sit in a facility over the weekend. Orders placed Thursday, Sunday ship the following Monday.

Tank Readiness Confirmation ✦ Required

I confirm that my aquarium has been fully cycled and seasoned for a minimum of 4, 6 weeks prior to this order. My water parameters have been tested and are within acceptable range for the species I am ordering. I understand that placing shrimp into an uncycled, improperly seasoned, or chemically unsafe tank is the leading cause of shrimp loss after delivery, and that Shrimp Atelier's Live Arrival Guarantee does not cover losses resulting from the buyer's tank conditions.

I understand that all sales of live animals are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be issued for living animals once delivered alive. The Live Arrival Guarantee covers DOA shrimp only (photo required within 1 hour of delivery). This policy exists to protect the welfare of the animals.
